Exhibitions at WhiteBox NY and 1st International Metaverse Art Expo
Participating in TIGHTROPE: THE MIDTERM ITCH at WhiteBox Art Space, New York
I am pleased to share my participation in TIGHTROPE: THE MIDTERM ITCH, an exhibition at WhiteBox Art Space in New York, running from October 2 through November 3. Bringing together artists from around the world, the exhibition explores election season as both a longstanding democratic tradition and a contemporary political spectacle. Inspired by the exhibition statement, which describes the recurring political tensions and collective anxieties surrounding elections as an itch that never truly disappears, the show invites artists to reflect on democracy, public consciousness, and the complexities of political life.
My two works, VOTE and DEMOCRISIS, engage with these themes from complementary perspectives. VOTE reflects on the power and significance of democratic participation, while DEMOCRISIS explores the tensions, uncertainties, and challenges facing democracy today. Through these works, I contribute to the exhibition's broader dialogue about the gap between democratic ideals and political realities, inviting viewers to question, reflect, and reconsider their relationship with the systems that shape our collective future. Participating in this exhibition is an opportunity to share my artistic perspective within an international conversation about the enduring complexities of democracy.
Participating in the 1st International Metaverse Art Expo by ARTLittle
I am pleased to announce my participation in the 1st International Metaverse Art Expo, presented by ARTLittle, an independent art project based in Malaysia and open to artists and galleries worldwide. Bringing together 300 selected artists from around the globe, this innovative virtual exhibition offers a new way to experience contemporary art through an immersive, three-dimensional, multiuser environment. Visitors can explore the galleries as avatars, discover artworks, interact with the virtual exhibition space, and purchase artworks directly. By embracing the possibilities of the metaverse, ARTLittle creates an international platform that transcends geographical boundaries and expands the ways artists can present their work and connect with audiences.
My participation features five works: CROSS SEX (large), TV TERMINATOR – BE/BEast, ME MYSELF & I, fACE, and POSTer, each contributing to my ongoing artistic exploration of contemporary themes, identity, perception, and the complex relationship between individuals and the world around them. Being part of this international initiative is an exciting opportunity to present my artistic practice within an emerging digital environment and to engage with a global audience beyond the limits of traditional exhibition spaces. The 1st International Metaverse Art Expo represents an important encounter between art, technology, and new forms of cultural exchange, opening up fresh possibilities for artistic expression, visibility, and connection in an increasingly interconnected world.
