       On this post I present the statement and video of my new project, entitled Arteryficial Intelligence', which it deals with a very important current issues about human existence, technology, digital evolution and social issues and social media.

Statement

Nowadays, one thing is a fact. The continuous technological evolution and the continuous social changes.
 
       Yet do our human existence, entity and culture, are they really developing?
 
The human species is in a state of confusion and conflict with technological development and evolution, which has affected its nature and position on our planet and in our society.
 
       The constantly digital growth, the challenge of Artificial Intelligence and social media, are raising new questions about our destination and existence.
 
        How does technology keep pace with human evolution?
 
Through my new work entitled 'Arteryficial Intelligence', I seek to highlight and illustrate various issues that concern me as an artist and a human being, while also presenting elements that influenced me.
 
        Through my lectures and seminars along with the fast growing influence of technology and the balance between human existence and the continuous increase of technological evolution and its imposition.
 
        I am dealing with elements that are having an important role today and will affect us even more in the future.
 
       My new work is based on a subjective, aesthetic and ethical perspective of developing technology focusing, to a more social understanding of emerging technology and digitalization.
 
       Through this artistic metaphor, I think of humans as flexible and fluid, just like digital technologies, that they (humans) are constantly changing at the same time, presenting the idea of ​​post-humanism.
 
       In addition, technological science and especially through Artificial Intelligence is developing rapidly, simultaneously positively and negatively affecting many factors such as art, medical sciences, businesses, etc., but often leading us to a confused communication, collaboration and connection with other people.
 
        In addition our deepest self, who experiences not only Fake News but moreover Fake Views.
 
        From my concurrence with the viewer and the subject matter of the exhibition, I want to create questions and interactivity, with my aim through this dialogue the building of the foundations for the balance between human and technology.
 
        Through the reflection that technological evolution is positive for humans, we must understand the limits of this impact on an individual and social level, and its reversal with negative consequences and influences.
 
        Humans have created technology, but can they really control it?
 
        Have we realized and researched the intersecting "line" between benefits and losses, on a personal level and in our society at large?
 
       And finally, as an artist I wonder. 
 

       Which species will create art in the future?
